Recognized as the first local builder to achieve green building certifications for Outer Banks home construction, Haddon Homes’ reputation for outstanding personal service is unmatched. Selectively small, owner Tom Haddon tackles just 4-6 projects per year with his specialized team in order to ensure an overwhelming positive experience for homeowners. Tom explains, “Communication is key–We keep our clients involved throughout the building process with emails, photos and phone calls.”
Since 2001, Haddon Homes has satisfied clients looking for a more personalized home building experience. Attention to detail has become a pillar of Tom Haddon’s business model, engrained early on from his days as one of the nation’s top hang glider pilots… “I enjoy building and get a lot of satisfaction from completing a home and hopefully exceeding our clients’ expectations. Many of our clients have become friends and we still keep in touch years after building their home,” says Tom.
“Tom was truly a pleasure to work with in building our new beach home. He is a seasoned builder who brought his wealth of knowledge and practical advice to every step of the process—from architectural design to the final inspection. Extremely accessible and responsive to our needs, Tom made us feel as if ours was the only project he was working on. We would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a pleasurable and stress-free home building experience.”–Scott and Lori Alperin
