Giving Back Awards

Aug. 18 – Nov. 6, 2025

The Giving Back Awards recognizes outstanding nonprofit organizations that transform our communities and enrich the lives of others in a variety of ways with charitable or cultural missions or through partnerships and programs. A special review committee will evaluate all entries and select honorees based on nominations submitted by either a representative of the organizations or a person familiar with their work. Considerations for selection include the strength of the organization’s mission and contribution to the community. Have a nonprofit in mind? Nominate them! The results will be published in the winter 2026 issue of Outer Banks Coastal Life.

Top Real Estate Agents

2025 contest has concluded. Results will be featured in the Fall 2025 issue.

Outer Banks Coastal Life has undertaken the task of unmasking the Top Agents and presenting them as a service to our readers. To create the list, we are facilitating an online peer-voting process, where agents and/or brokers may submit their sales roster for consideration. We will confirm that each agent has a current, active license status with the appropriate state regulatory board, in addition to their proof of sales submitted. We are looking for agents who have sold $6 million or above and/or teams who have sold $9 million or above from Jan. 1, 2024 to Dec. 31, 2024.
